Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

At QR Cycles, we want you to enjoy your cycling products with confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage, exclusions and claim procedures for products purchased from QR Cycles.

Please read this policy carefully and retain your proof of purchase for any future warranty claims.

1. Warranty Coverage

Products sold by QR Cycles may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty, subject to the applicable manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, QR Cycles does not provide an additional independent warranty beyond any warranty specifically offered by us.

Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions and claim procedures vary depending on the manufacturer and product. Certain products may have limited or no manufacturer warranty coverage, particularly used, ex-display, refurbished or clearance items. Please refer to the relevant product listing or contact us before purchasing if you require clarification.

The applicable manufacturer or authorised warranty provider will determine whether a claim qualifies for warranty coverage.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any rights or remedies available to you under applicable Singapore law.

2. Warranty Duration

Warranty periods vary by product and manufacturer.

Please refer to the manufacturer's specified warranty duration and applicable warranty documentation for details of the coverage period and any relevant conditions.

Where applicable, warranty coverage generally begins from the date of purchase, subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions. Please retain your official receipt or order confirmation as proof of purchase.

3. Warranty Exclusions

Unless otherwise covered under the applicable manufacturer's warranty or required by law, warranty claims generally do not cover damage, defects or failures arising from:

  1. Normal wear and tear, including the deterioration of consumable or wearing components through ordinary use.

  2. Improper assembly or installation, including incorrect fitting or adjustment of the bicycle or its components.

  3. Improper maintenance, including failure to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance procedures.

  4. Incompatible components or accessories, including the installation of parts not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle or product as supplied.

  5. Accidents, crashes, impacts, misuse, abuse or neglect.

  6. Unauthorised modifications or repairs, or alterations not approved by the manufacturer.

  7. Use outside the product's intended purpose or specified limits, including failure to observe applicable operating instructions and safety requirements.

  8. Broken or tampered warranty seals, where applicable and where such damage affects warranty eligibility under the manufacturer's terms.

  9. Labour charges for replacement or installation of parts, unless these are expressly covered by the applicable warranty or otherwise required by law.

This list is not exhaustive. Additional exclusions may apply under the relevant manufacturer's warranty terms.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you experience a product issue that you believe may be covered by warranty, please contact QR Cycles before sending or bringing the item back.

Please email us with the following information:

  • Proof of purchase: Your official receipt or order confirmation.

  • Product details: The product name, model and serial number, where applicable.

  • Photographs or videos: Clear images or recordings showing the issue.

  • Contact information: Your name, telephone number and email address.

  • Description of the issue: An explanation of the problem, when it occurred and the circumstances in which it arose.

Our team will review the information and advise you on the next steps.

Depending on the nature of the claim, the product may need to be returned to our store for inspection or forwarded to the manufacturer or authorised distributor for assessment. Please bring or provide your proof of purchase when returning an item.

Do not send products back before receiving return instructions from our team.

5. Warranty Assessment and Processing Time

All warranty claims are subject to assessment and final authorisation by the relevant manufacturer or its authorised warranty provider.

The assessment process may take several days to several weeks, depending on the nature of the issue, the product, the availability of replacement parts and the manufacturer's response time.

QR Cycles is committed to assisting customers and expediting the process wherever reasonably possible. However, we cannot guarantee a specific resolution date or warranty approval, as the final decision rests with the relevant manufacturer.

We will keep you informed of material updates where practicable.

6. Warranty Claim Outcomes

The final outcome of a warranty claim is determined and authorised by the relevant manufacturer or its authorised warranty provider, in accordance with the applicable warranty terms and conditions.

Where a warranty claim is approved, the manufacturer will determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the product, the nature of the issue and the applicable warranty terms, this may include:

  • Repairing or restoring the affected product.

  • Replacing the defective product or affected component.

  • Providing a full or partial refund, where authorised by the manufacturer.

QR Cycles will assist with communication and coordination between the customer and the relevant manufacturer or authorised distributor, where appropriate.

Labour charges for inspection, removal, installation, repair or replacement are not covered under warranty unless coverage is expressly granted by the relevant manufacturer. Customers may be responsible for these charges where applicable, and any known charges will be communicated before the relevant work proceeds.

If a warranty claim is rejected, we will advise you of the outcome and, where information is available to us, the reason for the decision.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable Singapore law.

7. Reasons a Warranty Claim May Be Rejected

A warranty claim may be rejected where:

  1. Valid proof of purchase cannot be provided.

  2. Inspection indicates that the damage or failure falls within an applicable warranty exclusion.

  3. The product's serial number is incorrect, altered, removed or cannot be verified.

  4. The product has been modified, repaired or tampered with in a way that invalidates coverage under the applicable warranty terms.

  5. The claim falls outside the applicable warranty period or otherwise fails to meet the manufacturer's warranty requirements.

Any rejection will be subject to the applicable warranty terms and relevant legal requirements. A warranty exclusion or rejected manufacturer claim does not automatically remove any separate rights or remedies available under Singapore law.

8. Used, Ex-Display and Clearance Products

Used, ex-display, refurbished and clearance products may have different warranty conditions from new products.

The applicable warranty coverage, duration and any known limitations will be stated in the product listing or communicated where applicable.

Please check the product details carefully before purchasing or contact us if you need clarification.

The condition or discounted price of a product does not, by itself, remove any consumer rights that apply under Singapore law.
